What is a PRU Station?

A PRU (Pressure Reducer Unit) station is part of a compressed natural gas supply system. The main function of a PRU station is to reduce the gas pressure from high pressure to a suitable pressure for use.

CNG Supply Process

Receiving gas from the input gas source -> Compressing gas -> Transporting -> Reducing pressure (PRU) -> Entering customer burners.

Why use PRU station Ensuring safety:

• PRU station helps to adjust gas pressure from high level to safe and suitable level for use. This ensures safety for gas system and users.
• Pressure adjustment: PRU station allows gas pressure to be adjusted to suit usage requirements. This helps to ensure gas is supplied at the correct pressure for applications such as CNG vehicle fuel or other industrial processes.
• Optimizing performance: Using PRU station helps to optimize the performance of the gas supply system. Gas pressure is gradually reduced and precisely controlled, helping to minimize loss and increase the ability to use gas efficiently.
• Protecting equipment: PRU station provides a pressure reduction step from high pressure to suitable pressure for other equipment and systems. This helps protect equipment from overpressure and increases their lifespan. Gas flow management:
